“To me, fashion is neither simply a trend nor a style…to me it is a distinctive form of expression.” – answered Fils when queried about his sentiments regarding the ever-evolving world of fashion and the unique art of self-expression.  

At the age of 14 years old, Reginald Roshard Fils, son of Cheryl Jean, an influential Boston-based fashion stylist and the C.E.O. of fashion production company RegiJames, Fils has endeavored to follow in his mother’s footsteps and make his mark on the fashion world. Being the maverick and ambitious young man that he is however, Fils felt it necessary to blaze his own trail, to create his own aesthetic and has done so by crafting a clothing line which simultaneously demonstrates his passion for fashion but also bears an important social message – inspiration derived from one’s own surrounding. Inspiration borne of urbanity and the elusive beauty of the everyday.

Years of analyzing the source(s) of his own fashion inspiration has resulted in the creation of Urban Inspired, a clothing line whose spirit thrives in the realm of being inspired by one’s own surroundings, be they urban, suburban, or simply country.In efforts of expose the masses to the message and mission of Urban Inspired, the clothing line currently consists of T-shirts and will soon expand to include lifestyle items and staples such as Urban Inspired jackets, pants, sweaters, hats and even socks, to ensure that forward-thinking fashion forward individuals and conscious consumers alike can remain inspired by their surroundings, from head to toe!
